EMS Workout

What is EMS?

What is EMS?

EMS stands for Electrical Muscle Stimulation.

This training method utilizes electrical impulses to achieve involuntary muscle contractions combined with voluntary contractions through low-impact exercises. These combined muscle contractions allow you to achieve a faster, more effective workout aiding in muscle development and toning.

What You Can Expect

The session itself is 20 minutes long, it is a personalized full body workout performed while wearing a special suit equipped with electrodes on every major muscle group.

The workout suit itself is equipped with electrodes embedded in a comfortable, breathable material that allows freedom of movement while keeping the electrodes properly placed on appropriate muscle groups.

Guided by a personal trainer and EMS device, the client begins with simple, low-impact strengthening exercises which begins the process of muscle development and fat burning – this approach has been shown to be 10x more effective than a standard manual workout.

What’s unique about EMS Training is the simultaneous stimulation of the entire body, as all muscle groups are exercised at the same time, allowing a more compact and effective workout. Clients realize a more comprehensive, effective workout that lasts, on average, 20 minutes less than a standard workout.

Weight loss

The amount of calories your body requires on a daily basis is largely determined by your metabolism and sport activities. In general, if you have a calorific surplus, i.e. eat more than your body needs, you will gain weight. A calorific deficit on the other hand leads to weight loss. Our cardio workout can increase your metabolism by 300-500 kcal, i.e. your body burns an additional 300-500 kcal every day.

Muscle growth and body toning

Our strengthening workout can both increase muscle mass and decrease body fat at the same time. Depending on your goal, you can either gain muscle size to appear stronger or reduce your overall size to achieve a more toned look.

Skin Tightness

Repeated intensive engagements of individual muscles can increase your metabolism significantly. A higher metabolism promotes fat loss and can therefore reduce the appearance of cellulite and improve the overall look of your skin.

Injury Recovery & Rehabilitation

If you are suffering from back, shoulder or knee pain and are unable to do conventional workouts, EMS training can help you gain strength and therefore prevent future injuries while helping with existing problems. In this case, the workout only contains simple movements and requires no weights to ensure a minimal impact on your joints. EMS can be done in conjunction with physical therapy but does not replace it.
